I should not have used the word "waste" but rather just the word "spend."

My curiosity got the best of me and I looked on eBay,  assuming that I would 
find a dozen copies of the Clooney record offered for sale.

Surprisingly,  Bart's is the only one listed!

Don't know the buyer, but remember what is common in one market might
not be common in another...
