There are many free PC programs for dearchiving and archiving. One with 
good flexibility is 7zip. Even easier, use Explorer, right-click, 
Explore, drag the files to where you want them.

Zip, from PKZip, uses a free archive/dearchive algorithm so it is 
implemented by all sorts of programs. For example, it's built into my 
preferred file manager.
