There had been a proposal many years ago to circulate a couple of
records around to different restoration engineers and compare the
results. This could still be done, but unfortunately a couple of
long-time restoration geniuses are no longer with us and it would have
been great to have their work represented since they were responsible
for so much work in the pop and jazz field..
