[78-L] Hawaiian .. Chant

Hey, was there a ban on radio announcers saying "war" in 1941 (pre-Pearl 
Harbor) in reference to Hawaii? I've just heard an intro to the 'Hawaiian .. 
Chant' (Hawaiian War Chant, obviously, and even called that on the label of the 
lacquer) on an aircheck from June 5, 1941. (Followed by Miss Eileen Barton 
singing it in what sounds to me like pretty credible Hawaiian.)
