I'll conjecture that many songs related to products had their origins in
radio, when they sponsored music shows. Soaps, beers, cigarettes, food
products, most anything. Some products had their own bands. Ipana
Troubadours comes to mind. Others will add more. I am sure.
Remember the Meister Brau Showcase of the 50's?
How about some of those old jingles?
