I've been reading the trivia guesses and, no surprise, I've been surprised. Certainly Mike Biel's answer qualifies as correct. And both Ron L'Herault and David Lennick cite OUTSIDE. I suspect they must be right although I've listened to two versions of OUTSIDE (Harry Reser and Jan Garber) but can find no Fridgidaire. The Rudy Vallee OUTSIDE must be a different song.
Anyway, no one has guessed the two I'm thinking of.
CLUE to #1 - It was a #1 movie song from the 30's and the appliance is a Fridgedaire.
CLUE to #2 - The appliance is the Waring Blender.
Don't want to drag this on forever so I'll wait a little longer and give answers within 24 hours.
