I think you are talking about bandleader Gay Claridge. Mary Osborne played
guitar and sang in his band in 1944. One of his broadcasts appears on Radio
Archives PC79, a collection of One Night Stand broadcasts. Osborne sings two
songs and has a short guitar solo on another.
