[78-L] Can someone help this collectore re: Home Reco rdings like Record Disc Co?

If this is so perhaps some magnetic shield could be placed under the cart?

Would MU-metal shield from magnetic influence? Or just a strip of metal 
reduce the mag attraction just enough?
