According to the data you gave in this list, this recording was from 1908, Mexico City.
A Victor discography states that the same band, recorded the same piece, in 1907, so I am wondering...
Is it possible that Victor sold the recording to Columbia Records in order to market it outside USA?
If yes, was this a common practice?
Thanks, Best regards.

I have Columbia Records 78 rpm disc C318 (5811 master?)
Lindas Mexicanas - March - Banda de Policia de la Ciudad de Mexico.
(Mexico's City police band, before 1920?) Sousa style Mexican March.
Nearby where I live there are no good Libraries, so I looked for
dicography and I can´t find anything in the net.
A WWW link or the record data will be much apreciated.
(dates is what I am looking for)
Thaks, regards.
