[78-L] Shameless plug: Bix bio available

Gents & ladies,

We have a limited supply of Chip Deffaa's book, "Sincerely, Bix Beiderbecke" available on our website (www.originjazz.com). This is a soft-bound book that was a companion piece to the Sunbeam Records double-box LP set of the complete recordings of Bix Beiderbecke. OJL has since remastered all of the tracks, which are available in our "Bix Restored" series, however, we still have some copies of the book in our warehouse which we are selling for $20 each. The books are 146 pages long and feature a biography of Bix written by Deffaa, a noted jazz critic for the New York Post. The book features over two dozen rare photos of Bix in the studio and on the road, clowning around with his Roaring 20s pals like Frankie Trumbauer, Howdy Quicksell &?Chauncey Morehouse?(two of the great names in jazz), and others. There is also a complete discography (as of 1987) of Bix's recording sessions. 

There are no LP sets remaining, unfortunately, but the sound on the CDs is far superior to these anyway.
