The pronunciation is "Tees" with a short "s," not like "tease." More like "Teece," which was someone else's suggestion. That comes from Henry's grandson, whom I've not met, but according to him that is how to say it. It's also confirmed by the way the name is given on a mock WLW broadcast of that time which featured his orchestra.
