[78-L] today's NY Times (ancient records)

Has anyone seen the interesting article (by Dan Wakin) in today's NY  Times 
(Oct 26, 2008) in regard to the recovery of the famous Julius Block  Russian 
cylinders from the dawn of recorded sound? However, there seems to be a  typo as 
to the start of the commercial aspects of the industry. (1899  for 1889).
