[78-L] Source for 10-inch LP inner sleeves

What I really need is something to house hundreds of discs I have no time to
clean until I actually get around to playing them (if ever)! No point putting
garden variety transcriptions, which are usually pretty grungy, into clean
sleeves..when you do get around to cleaning the disc, you have to toss the
sleeve or use it for another uncleaned pressing. And my objections to card
concern the fact that it's stiff and traps grit which will scratch the discs. I
wouldn't use it for LPs or vinyl 78s, why should I use it for transcription discs?

Last I heard, Kurt's prices were about to rise after the current stock was
sold. I know I won't see anything at 10 or 20 cents (other than used ones..I
got a batch when Rare Records was closing, and the idiot packer rolled them up
and used them as packing material) but a bulk order of ten thousand new sleeves
on lightweight paper ought to be feasible at 50 cents a pop.

Nauck's Disc-O-File are $1 each, and Bags Unlimited S16LP 17x17 are less than $.76 apiece. You might also contact Kurt Nauck, who auctions off many radio transciption discs each year, which are mostly 16". He may have some spare sleeves. But you know as well as I do that in this day and age you will never find what you're looking for at 10 or 20 cents each, particularly in cheap paper.
