FYI, The computer servers at our company are named after snow-capped Northwest mountains (see below), using the original native-american indian names. Klickitat is the name for Mt. Adams (Cascade range in Washington state), as per the local Klickitat Indian tribe. There is also a Klickitat river, etc. These names are not unique, Klickitat was also called Pahto.
Mt. St. Helens = Loowit, Mt Hood = Wyeast, Crater Lake = Mazama Mt Ranier = Takhoma or Tahoma, Mt. Baker = Kulshan, Mt. Adams = Klickitat or Pahto, Mt. Jefferson = (maybe) Seekseekqua
Now I will be seaching my for 'Black Ball Ferry Line'. ....Oops, should have been cataloging instead of sitting with the computer!
Regards,
Ron Fial

>The Black Ball Line used to run ferries all over the Pacific Northwest. Kilickitat is a river and an Indian tribe here in Washington, but it's also a ferry in the state ferry system (which toook over many of the old Black Ball lines), MV Klickitat. I think the Port Angeles-Victoria ferry still uses an old Black Ball ship.
