Al Gallodoro, 95 years young, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, October 
4.  He performed his last gig on September 20, 2008.

"The King of the Saxophone", he was also one of the great masters of the 
clarinet, and was soloist with the Paul Whiteman Orchestra for thirty years. 
His remarkable career encompassed eight decades playing jazz and classical 
music at the height of his profession.
